Nick Butcher is Bootleg Bowie UK, pictured right..

Nick has been performing in various bands around the UK since 1988. Originally a guitarist, then later a lead vocalist/guitarist, Nick finally settled in an 80's tribute group called 80's Revolution. They have now been together for over ten years. In the group Nick plays guitar and shares the lead vocal duties with bass player James.

It was only in an attempt to play more gigs during lean times with the group that Nick decided to start a solo tribute to David Bowie, whom he had long admired.

Some years on and the Bootleg Bowie show is going stronger than ever, constantly evolving as new ideas and songs are incorporated. The show is completely self contained with a powerful compact sound system and lighting.

Nick is always accompanied by his sound engineer and keyboard player Mike (Garson) Dacombe, who can sometimes be roped into accompanying Nick on a final song of the night, fully live version of a Bowie classic...You will have to see the show to find out what one it is!!
